Student Counseling Services
The role of the Counseling Office is to assist and help students who face academic difficulties and personal problems. The
students are provided a friendly place to share their concerns in complete confidentiality.
Our goal is to help students grow in self-understanding and awareness, so they are able to meet the demands of college
life. Also, we help students to achieve as much success as possible while they are at the Sohar Campus.
The Counseling Office offers services to assist students with difficulties that may occur in the future, in making decisions,
and helps students in solving their personal concerns.
The services provided by the Counseling Office include time management, study skills, coping with depression and stress,
dealing with change, fear of failure, and coping with feelings such as loneliness, sadness, anger, and relationship
We also offer psychological and health services. If required, students can be referred to a psychiatrist at Sohar Polyclinic.
Other health services are available to students through Sohar Polyclinic and Sohar Regional Hospital.
